Logo Conversion Guide · Updated August 6, 2026
Logo to Minecraft pixel art.
To convert a logo to Minecraft pixel art, use a PNG with clear lines and solid colors. The Concrete Only palette gives logos clean, saturated colors. Start at 32-64 blocks wide.
Best logos for Minecraft conversion
- Simple shapes with solid colors
- Clear outlines without gradients
- High contrast between foreground and background
- No thin lines smaller than 2 blocks
- No text smaller than 5 pixels tall
Preparing your logo
Before converting:
- Remove gradients — replace with solid colors
- Simplify small details that disappear at block resolution
- Use a transparent or solid white/black background
- Make the logo square if possible (1:1 ratio)
Recommended palette for logos
| Palette | Colors | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Concrete Only | 16 | Logos, flags, flat designs — clean and consistent |
| Full Palette | 28 | When color accuracy matters more than simplicity |
Concrete Only is usually the best choice for logos. The bold, uniform colors look clean on walls and match well with Minecraft's aesthetic.
Server icon conversion
Minecraft server icons are 64×64 pixels. To create a pixel art version:
- Upload your server icon to BlockArtLab
- Set width to 64 blocks
- Choose Concrete Only palette
- Export PNG for reference or Litematic for in-game build
Text and lettering
Text in pixel art needs enough resolution to be readable:
- 5-7 pixels per character minimum
- 48+ blocks wide for short words
- 64+ blocks wide for longer text
- Use high-contrast colors (black on white, white on dark)
