Privacy Policy
How BlockArtLab handles your information
This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, how cookies and advertising partners work, and how you can manage your choices.
Last updated October 16, 2026
1. Who we are
BlockArtLab (`https://blockartlab.com`) is an independent Minecraft map-art toolkit. For privacy questions, contact support@blockartlab.com.
2. Information we collect
- Account data such as name and email when you register.
- Usage data such as product interactions, generation attempts, downloads, and diagnostic events needed to operate the service.
- Device and log data such as browser type, approximate location derived from IP, and security logs.
- Payment metadata from our payment processor (order IDs, product purchased, payment status). Full card details are handled by the processor, not stored by BlockArtLab.
- Local converter images stay in your browser for free conversion. They are not uploaded to BlockArtLab servers for that workflow.
3. Cookies and similar technologies
BlockArtLab uses cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, measure site performance, and—when enabled—support advertising. Essential cookies are required for authentication and security. Analytics and advertising cookies help us understand traffic and fund the free parts of the product.
You can manage cookies through your browser settings (block, delete, or limit third-party cookies). Some features may not work correctly if essential cookies are disabled. Where required by law, we will present additional consent controls before non-essential cookies run.
4. Advertising partners (including Google AdSense)
BlockArtLab may use third-party advertising services such as Google AdSense to display ads. Google and other advertising partners may place or read cookies on your browser, or use web beacons, IP addresses, device identifiers, and similar technologies as a result of ads being served on this site. These technologies help show ads, measure performance, limit how often an ad appears, and detect fraud or abuse. Partners may collect or receive information about your visits to this site and other websites.
To learn how Google uses data on partner sites, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services. You can manage personalized ads via Google Ads Settings and industry opt-outs such as the Network Advertising Initiative or Your Online Choices portals where available. Where required (for example in the EEA/UK), we present a consent message before non-essential advertising cookies run.
5. How we use data
We use information to provide accounts and credits, generate and store maps you create, process payments, moderate prohibited content, prevent abuse, improve product quality, communicate support replies, and comply with legal obligations.
6. Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share data with processors that help run BlockArtLab (hosting, authentication, payments, analytics, moderation, and advertising partners such as Google), when required by law, or to protect users and the service. Processors act under contractual confidentiality and security obligations.
7. International transfers & retention
Servers and vendors may process data in countries other than your own. We retain account and transaction records as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal/accounting requirements, and resolve disputes, then delete or anonymize them when no longer required.
8. Your choices and GDPR-style rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal data, object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent where processing is consent-based. To exercise these rights, email support@blockartlab.com. You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
9. Children
BlockArtLab is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). If you believe a child provided personal data, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
10. Changes
We may update this policy as the product and legal requirements evolve. Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised date. For related rules, see our Terms of Service and Cookies page.
