Litematica material list: how to use CSV with the Litematica mod.
Combine BlockArtLab's CSV material list with Litematica's placement overlay for efficient building. The CSV gives exact counts and stack estimates; Litematica shows where each block goes.
What Litematica provides
- Placement overlay: ghost blocks showing where to place each block
- Material list: required blocks with counts
- Layer view: build one Y level at a time
- Task list: tracks which blocks are placed
What BlockArtLab's CSV adds
- Stack estimates: how many stacks of 64 to bring
- Pre-build planning: gather materials before loading the schematic
- Cross-version reference: works for Bedrock too (no Litematica needed)
Combined workflow
- Convert your image in BlockArtLab
- Download both .litematic and CSV
- Open the CSV — note total stacks per color
- Gather all materials in survival
- Load .litematic in Litematica
- Enable placement overlay (M + Y by default)
- Build from the overlay, checking off blocks as you go
Container organization
- One chest per color group
- Label chests with signs
- Place chests near the build site
- Keep 10% extra blocks for mistakes
