Sunset Mountain conversion case study
This page documents files produced by BlockArtLab’s free converter for a small SVG landscape. Counts below come from the published CSV in /examples/image-to-litematic/. No in-game screenshot is claimed here; Litematic load testing in Minecraft remains a manual step.

Conversion settings recorded
- Source: SVG landscape (`sunset-mountain-source.svg`)
- Outputs stored under `/examples/image-to-litematic/`
- Orientation artifact: `sunset-mountain-wall.litematic` (wall)
- Material total in CSV: 1,024 blocks
- Formats: PNG blueprint, CSV materials, wall `.litematic`
Material totals from the CSV
| Block | Count | Stacks (64) |
|---|---|---|
| White Concrete (white_concrete) | 461 | 7.20 |
| Deepslate (deepslate) | 179 | 2.80 |
| Moss Block (moss_block) | 157 | 2.45 |
| Sandstone (sandstone) | 78 | 1.22 |
| Cyan Concrete (cyan_concrete) | 75 | 1.17 |
| Gray Concrete (gray_concrete) | 36 | 0.56 |
| Light Blue Concrete (light_blue_concrete) | 20 | 0.31 |
| Stone (stone) | 9 | 0.14 |
| Light Gray Concrete (light_gray_concrete) | 6 | 0.09 |
| Quartz Block (quartz_block) | 3 | 0.05 |
Stack values in this archived CSV are fractional display totals (count ÷ 64). The live converter exports whole stacks with ceil(count / 64).
Downloadable outputs
- PNG blueprint
- Materials CSV
- Wall `.litematic` — intended for compatible Minecraft Java Edition + Litematica. Load in a creative test world before survival use.
Manual verification still required
- Install Minecraft Java Edition with Litematica + MaLiLib.
- Place `sunset-mountain-wall.litematic` in the schematics folder.
- Load a disposable creative world and confirm origin/rotation.
- Compare a corner against the PNG blueprint.
- Only then paste into a valued survival world.
Automated unit tests in this repository validate packing, material totals and gzip structure. They do not replace in-game import testing across Minecraft versions.
